Experience

Mr. Scattergood has been defending personal injury lawsuits since 1994. He has obtained defense verdicts a broad range of cases including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, Dram Shop, tractor-trailer, insurance coverage, premises liability and car accidents in courtrooms all over Minnesota. Mr. Scattergood is on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and also serves as co-editor of the MDLA Release Deskbook. He frequently lectures on dram shop, automobile insurance and personal injury matters. Mr. Scattergood joined Stich, Angell in May 2007, after practicing at Rider Bennett for 13 years, where he was a Partner and Chair of the Firm’s Defense Practice Group.
